Law Exam Archive

One method of preparing for law school exams is to consult previously administered exams. When provided by faculty, the Law Library digitizes them and places them on E-Reserves. This is our complete collection of previous exams.

The resource guide linked above is here to help you in finding the various study aids that are available through the College of Law Library as well as show you what each study aid contains and where to find them.


Aspen Learning Library

  • e-Book versions of study aids such as Glannon Guides, Emanuel Outlines, Examples & Explanations, etc.; plus video and audio study aids.
  • For access:
    1. Go to https://ebooks.aspenlaw.com
    2. To bookmark, take notes, and highlight, follow these steps to create an account:
      • Click on "Register" (underneath "Don't have a personal account?").
      • Enter the required information, using your @vandals.uidaho.edu e-mail address.
      • Click "Create My Account".

LexisNexis Digital Library and Study Aids

  • e-Book versions of study aids such as the Mastering Series, Questions & Answers, and Understanding Series.
  • For access:
    1. Go to https://lexisdl.com/library/uidaho
    2. To download, make annotations, or tag materials, follow these steps to create an account:
      • Click "Sign In".
      • Follow the prompts, using your @vandals.uidaho.edu e-mail address.

West Academic Study Aids

  • e-Book versions of study aids such as Black Letter Outlines, Nutshells, Concise Hornbooks, etc.; plus practice questions, audio lectures, etc.
  • For access:
    1. Go to https://subscription.westacademic.com/
    2. To take notes, highlight, save favorites, and see recently viewed materials, follow these steps to create an account:
      • Click "Create An Account" in the upper right hand corner.
      • Alternatively click "Sign In" in the upper right hand corner, then select "Create an Account"
      • Follow the prompts, using your @vandals.uidaho.edu e-mail address.

Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction (CALI)

  • Interactive tutorials & e-Books on many legal subjects.
  • For access:
    1. Contact the library to pick up your registration code.
    2. Create an account at cali.org/user/registerusing your @vandals.uidaho.edu e-mail address.
