Library Information for New COL Students

Carrels

Moscow Law Library:

  • The carrels located in the basement and upper levels of the Law Library are assigned and administered by the SBA.
  • New carrel policies are intended to facilitate University of Idaho's social distancing guidelines. Please observe them.

Boise Law Library & ILJLC Reading Room:

  • Seating is first come, first served. If a seat is empty, it is available. 
  • Students cannot save carrels by leaving belongings; they will be removed and relocated.
  • Lockers are available for storage; questions can be directed to Rebekah Cudé, Director of Student Affairs.

Study Rooms/Table Seating

Moscow Law Library:

  • Study rooms are available on the upper level of the library. This semester usage is limited to one student at a time in all rooms. A room can be reserved here; please read the instructions carefully.
  • There is also one study room dedicated to family use. Contact Sande Schlueter, Assistant to the Dean & Registrar, for details and please take reasonable precautions if bringing your children to the COL. 
  • Table seating on all floors is first come, first served & limited to 50% occupancy. Please do not move the chairs.

Boise Law Library, ILJLC Reading Room, & Water Center:

  • Seating is first come, first served. If a seat is empty, it is available. 
  • Belongings left will be removed and relocated.
  • Lockers are available for storage; questions can be directed to Rebekah Cudé, Director of Student Affairs.
