Course Reserve Requests

Print Books
Faculty may request books be put on course reserve by emailing Carolyn Todd in Moscow or Kris Quigley in Boise. Material not owned by either law library will be considered for purchase. Personal copies may be placed on reserve and will be returned to the owner at the end of the semester.

Electronic/ Digital Files
Faculty may request class recordings, old course exams, etc. be placed on course reserve (or removed) by emailing Evan Lantzy. Copyright restrictions apply and student permission is required to post exams.

Posting Student Exams

Student papers/exams must have written permission of the student author on file with the library. Once the student has submitted the form below, their paper/exam will be posted by the library in the subject area requested.

Copyright Guidelines

Most reserve materials have copyright protection. Reproduction of materials must generally comply with fair use guidelines or be specifically allowed by the copyright holder.  Faculty are responsible for complying with copyright law and should consult the official University of Idaho copyright policy, Section 5300(B) of the Faculty-Staff Handbook. A comprehensive guide to copyright and fair use can be found on the UI Main Library webpage.
